A Whole Month Has Past!!

I have been busy.. just enjoying life.. got to get back to my sales starting this week.. So be prepared for quite a few clearance sales coming thru.. you can see my items for sale almost daily on my Facebook sale page..  I generally send 2 or 3 ads per day.. 

I havent been working on too much crocheting.. or typing for that matter.. seems I have developed a lump from using it too much on my right trigger finger.. Finally down so I can get back to it.. I have so many things I want to make!!

I am finally going to put my books back up.. did my 2023 Challenge on Goodreads.. I ended up reading 51 out of 50.. Will update January's books by Wednesday..

Bet you wonder why I do so many different sites.. you see, my house is full of stuff.. just too much stuff.. I dont plan on being in this house more than a couple more years.. so I need to clear it out, because I dont want to move it.   I have an order of what I put items up in stores.. 

Obviously, my handcrocheted items get listed in Bonanza.. I want to focus more on that as I need to get items done to clear out yarn, towels, and other supplies to make them.

Then the regular items in my house.. First, they go up on Ebay, then after they get lowered, then I move them to TraderKat.. I also use TraderKat to sell some of my hanging towels too.. Then they get moved to Listia.. and if they get that far.. then I move them to Buy Nothing, West side Allentown, Buffalo, NY.. and just give them away.. if they get where no one wants them.. there is always AmVets.. 

So you see ads for all the places.. one of the best ways to see what I have it to go to my facebook storefront to Michelle's Old and New Goodies.. I have sections for all my items.. so you can see them all.. Click on the link to go to my site on Facebook.

Time..

Over the last year, I have been thinking on how to save time.. with all the stuff I do, I sometimes feel like I dont have much down time.. even my boyfriend told me I need to slow down.. so I have made a few decisions.. hopefully this will cut back on my stress levels..

One - Old & New Shoppe in Buy Sell Community will be closed.. I will only put my items up on Ebay.. which of course will raise my prices.. but most of my sales are thru Ebay anyways.. the Yahoo Groups have effectively stopped selling for me.. I say less than 10% of my sales are thru the groups.. so why not just list them on Ebay and just show my Ebay link?? They generally will be Buy It Now anyways.. and I will just keep the ads up for 30 days at a time.. this way I cut back on some of the time on the computer..

Two -- leaving me with more time to make things for my Etsy store -- The Cat's Meow Crochet.. I am selling alot of items thru there now.. as well as on Facebook..

My Yahoo Groups -- I will still keep them open.. it is just the links will go directly to Ebay or Etsy.. members of my Old & New Group will still get their 10% discount (they still will need to tell me they are a member).. and you still can get the items directly thru me.. and not on Ebay.. of course, if someone places a bid and/or orders before you actually buy it, they will get it first..

Cat's Meow members dont get a discount.. but they will get special sales at least 4 times per year.. that they and Facebook Members only get.. and if you buy thru Facebook.. you already get a discount..

Last but least.. I now will need a deposit on all orders.. as again.. someone stuck me with an order. unless it is a small order of $5 or less.. it isnt fair to me and to others behind you to leave me in suspense..

Well.. back to computer work and crocheting.. I might have some time to just relax.. soon.. lol..

Sunday Update..

Well.. havent done these for awhile.. smile.. Just thought I would stop in and let you know what is up in my world.. On the kitties front.. Sapphire is healed again.. back eating and moving around.. That makes me happy.. Gabby, on the other hand, is not healed up yet.. her one gland in her neck is still swollen.. if she isnt better by Tuesday I guess it will be time to visit the vet AGAIN..

On my stores.. been working hard to get some new items up for sale at Old & New Shoppe and Listia. I will be putting up alot of new patterns in both, and new books in Old & New Shoppe.. been doing alot of reading, so have alot to put up..

In crocheting.. I finished off the pair of slippers I have been working on.. just need to attach them to the bottoms.. this is one pattern I will never use again.. I didnt like it.. to be honest.. If someone wants them.. I am definitely gonna charge double what I did agree on. I am now starting a pair of sneaker slippers.. like these.. except in gray and peach.. already started the bottoms..

I still need to finish a baby gift I started for someone.. as well as an order for a Camisole I got.. smile.. will update you with pictures during the week..

Sunday Update!!

How is your Sunday going?? Am busy with clearing out stuff for this week.. you know how it is.. smile.

I got several orders packed and weighed.. and ready to print out postage.. plan on doing that tonight. and got my home office much more organized.. soon.. hopefully I will be able to get more stuff scanned and put up for sale in my Old & New Shoppe.. (really need to clear out more stuff.. smile).. and now that I got my picture taking area almost done.. that also should save me time.. smile..

I almost got done with the Froggie slippers.. just need to embroider the eyes.. hope to get some pictures done tomorrow night.. am busy all day tomorrow.. also got my football slippers pattern printed out.. that is next.. I definitely want to get done with two different styles on those next.

Due to the BNS I was on..  I got two towels sold.. smile.. I still have a bunch to put up.. will get done with those today (I sent the pictures here already)..

Today I am not quite moving as fast as I should.. just so tired.. think I will need a break soon.. I have been helping a friend out on top of my other daily activities, and I think it has been too much.. so for the next few days I will not be doing as much as I have been.

Yesterday I worked on my Etsy store.. updating photos.. still have more to update.. hope to get them done in the next day or so..

Today on the other hand.. Very busy day.. but nice day.. first drove my best friend shopping.. and Starbucks (SMILE)... then home, drop off the stuff I bought, and dropped my best friend and her stuff.. then off I went to have lunch with another friend at Applebees.. SMILE.. nice time.. left there.. got a car wash.. did some shopping at Wegmans.. got home.. made tuna mac salad... we sat on the deck and cooked chicken.. ate.. watered my garden.. then watched movies with my honey for the rest of the night.. and crocheted of course.. I did finish a bunch of scrubbies in the last two days.. and am working on a simple cotton dishcloth.. after I finish this.. moving back to towels (for an order) and to make some for the store front.. cos I got some GREAT buttons I am dying to use.. more stuff tomorrow.. and hopefully some pictures tomorrow too.. might even put a freebie up from Old & New Shoppe tomorrow too... just to celebrate a nice order via Ebay from here.  Come back tomorrow and see what I decided..
