This is crocheted to order with baby yarn.. can be made in 3 - 6 months or 6 -9 months. You can pick your choice of color.. but the buttons will be hearts to match the color. I can make in pink, variegated pink/white, lavender, and white..Pattern is from Doreen Baby Book, with my changes.

Working on Baby Sweater Set

So behind.. falling behind due to alot of orders and just not feeling good.. but I wanted you to see what I made.. I got the pattern on Etsy.. I just love this design.

She wanted a smaller size that came with the pattern.. so I had to adjust this.. but I figured it out.. Now I got the hat and booties to work on.

This calls for Pompadour baby yarn, but I used baby yarn to make it smaller.. I figure it is between a 12 months size and a 18 months size. I have had to pull out several times esp the hat since it came too small.. just slowing me down.. I will be focusing on this for the rest of this month.. .

Vintage Shell Stitch Baby Set..

Well.. I got the photo of the baby set.. and we discovered one thing..today's babies are larger than the previous ones.. what I thought would fit for fall.. fits her now.. sigh.. definitely a learning lesson.. so off to work on another sweater set for her for fall..

I will be able to figure out for a larger size.. smile.. just a couple of tries I am sure..

I think it really came out well.. I think this will be an item on Etsy for me.. checking out the cost of buttons though.. I will have to charge more than I like.. lol.. the cost of the buttons are actually quite high..

Day 2 of the Hat

Well.. with all the running around and a Dr appt yesterday.. I didnt get to take the pictures of the hat.. which is ok.. cos now it is almost done. here are two pictures..

Once I finish that.. I have to work on two items for Listia orders.. two ornaments.. one is a star.. the other is a oval one.. hope to have some pictures..

Feeling a bit ill..

Unfortunately after my last blog entry I started having stomach problems.. so didnt accomplish anything but the two sachets I needed for Listia.. tonight I plan on working on the baby hat for the order.. pictures tomorrow..

Finished the sweater - Day 7

I was so close to finishing that I didnt take a picture on Day 6.. probably because I was at a crochet/knitting meetup at Wegmans!  Here is the final picture.. I just love the way the white buttons look against the sweater.. I have to work off the loose threads.. but it is done.. now on to the hat!! But first I need to make two lavender sachets for Listia orders.. that is what I will be working on this afternoon.. they want two white ones..

Day 5 of the Infant Sweater Set

As you can see, I finished the bottom and now am working on the sleeves.. made a few changes to the pattern as I want to put buttons down the front instead of a tie.. more pictures tomorrow..

Day 4 of the infant sweater

Day 4 of the sweater.. I didnt get online to add this last night.. so am showing it to you now.. as you can see it is just about done.. I have a couple more rows, sleeves and the edging.. I figure the sweater will be done by Day 6.. then off to the hat and booties.. am hoping to be done by the end of the week for sure..

Day Three of the Sweater Set

As you can see I got the yoke done.. and started the shell bottom.. figure it is about 1/4 done.. this would also make a nice summer top and even a shrug.. oh the ideas..

I didnt get alot done tonight.. as my best friend invited me over for dinner and to swim.. nice to have a friend with a pool.. grin.. but I did get some stuff done..

Day Two of the Sweater Set

I didnt get done as much as I planned on.. one of the first things I discovered about this pattern is it ran big.. I originally used a E hook.. it came too big.. so moved down to a C hook.. so I basically started from scratch today.. as you can see I got the yoke done and now am on the shell pattern.. more tomorrow..

My newest project.. a baby sweater set

I am making this for an order using a vintage pattern.. mine will have buttons like the last photo.. but long sleeve.. I will have pictures of this daily until I finish it.. tomorrow will be my first picture.. right now I am just finishing the yoke..

Oldies but Goodies - Baby Sweaters

I decided to start reshowing you some items I have previously made.. just a reminder of items I can make custom.. I may start putting some of these on Etsy.. just not sure.. Here are a couple of baby sweater sets I made previously.. including my favorite one..

Sweaters alone are $15, and sets are $20.. this of course depends on the yarn used.. if you pick a more expensive yarn, it is higher..

Finished the Infant Girl's Dress Set..

Wow.. I really love this. smile.. I can honestly say I think it came pretty.. what do you think?  I hope they send a photo of her in the dress.. smile.

Long Update for Me!!

Sorry I havent been here in a LONG time.. in between flareups of my fibro, trying to get some of my orders done and out, doing my sales in Ebay (they changed things.. and postage changed, so I have been updating there too).. and just trying to keep up with life and all its disasters.. I had to put this behind..

First I did finally finish the sneaker slippers I had an order for.. put away the slippers for my friend.. as she is willing to wait for it.. and get the orders done that had to be done.. I did a pair of sneaker slippers.. pattern here. Here is a closeup of the side..

I am now working on a star bunting for a baby.. I am just about 1/3 done.. smile.. it is coming very nice.. Pattern can be found here..  I hope to have some pictures by next week..

Of course I am working on my Ebay items for sale.. I am selling books that I am finished reading, as well as DVD's and VHS tapes that we already watched.. I also am reselling my patterns that I have finished scanning to clear them out.. smile.. that part is going slow.. lol.. as I dont leave myself alot of time to scan items.. I generally have around 100 items up for sale at one time.. give or take.. what doesnt sell there.. goes to Listia to be bidded off as a freebie..

This winter has been horrible.. really low temperatures in the single digits or even minus.. and that is without the wind chills.. so going out was really hard on me.. often I ended up with a flareup of my fibro and ended up in bed for a couple days at at time.. so then just read books.. I am currently reading a series by Sarah Graves,, Her Home Repair is Homicide series.. it is both funny, entertaining, and nice mysteries.. I do recommend them to everyone.. I am currently reading Nail Biter..

Well.. guess that is my total update for today.. hope to be back soon..

Well.. I finished the slippers.. I have to say I love these slippers.. they are perfect for a little girl. and best part.. the cross over band is adjustable.. yep.. that button is there for a reason.. not decoration!! First one I have seen like these.. I can make these for
 about $3.50 each.. in your choice of colors..

New Update of Mouse Soaker Set..

This is coming along very nicely.. I only have the slippers to finish (started those last night).. thought you would like to see how it looks now.. am happy on how it it coming along.. I am assuming I will finish this set by Wed and have pictures then..

This is the hat.. had some problems sewing it together.. but it finally worked.. hopefully the ears stay upright..






This is a close up of the soaker.. back and front.. I added a slightly elastic band to it.. to remove the tie that the pattern had.. hopefully it works..
