Cant believe I am now 65.. yes, today is my birthday.. and I plan on going out for dinner and of course, out to Tim Horton's with Cindy.. many of my family didnt make it to this age.. so I appreciate making it.. wasnt sure for awhile if I would as life was so stressful.. but I made it out the other end and now am happier than I ever have been.. so take a minute and drop me a line..  catsmeowcrochet67@gmail.com

I made this dark blue shawl as a gift for a birthday party.. same pattern as before.. and happily for me, she loved it.. currently working on Bills coffee cup cozies.. photos soon.. I have a couple orders for them.. so am working on different designs so they can choose which one they want.. 

I am also working on getting my stuff in order again.. that seems like an endless project.. lol.. at least I got my patterns organized in my file drawer.. and now am scanning ones to keep.. so I can put up for sale the booklets and magazines.. gives me more ideas on items to make.. if you see an item you would like me to put up for sale.. let me know.. I would love some ideas.. with Fall coming.. I will be home more.. as it gets darker earlier.. and I dont like to drive after dark.. old age.. lol..

Garage Sale to help a Cat Rescuer (Cheektowaga, NY)

Garage Sale and raffle for cat rescuer.. Sunday 10 to 4 pm.. 63 Seton Rd, Buffalo NY 14225. I gave her two baskets (one Buffalo Bills and one Cat Towels/dishclothes/potholders) for raffle.. hopefully she does well.. I also donated my flamingo towels too.. so go and check it out.. and yes, she will take new and gently used items to sell too.

Michelle's Update!

I am working on so many things right now.. just finished another Shawl.. since it is a birthday gift.. I will put a picture up after the birthday.. I am also working on sachets for an order in white.. and finished one in white glitter with a blue ribbon.. picture of it here.. I would like to get some extras made in colors to show in my store. This way people can see the colors I have. I am working on those, orders and gifts at the same time.. so you can imagine how busy I am.. I already have a list of items to make between now and Christmas.. Hopefully will get them finished in time for everything!

I had a nice weekend..

I had a nice weekend.. my friend, Diane and I took a weekend trip to visit another friend from HS, Kari.. I hadnt seen her since she moved back in HS.. and got to meet her daughter (20+). We ate dinner and ended up talking for 3 hours after that.. then we all exchanged gifts.. which was funny cos I wasnt expecting that. Live and Learn.. Diane's gift to me was the trip.. which was great.. and Kari got me a really nice coffee mug and some Tim Hortons coffee.. which anyone who knows me.. knows I LOVE!! When I get a slow down.. I have to make her something nice from me.. she deserves it.. I got Diane a memory bear.. made from her husband's jacket.. brought tears to her eyes.. that made me happy she liked it.. Her husband, Charlie has been gone for 9 years this month.. so it made it special.. I got alot of crocheting done on the way there.. and back.. the shawl I am making is more than half done. Yay!! Hope to have pictures soon.. Got home and my cats were like all over me. They sure did miss me.. I was only gone for 2 days. Smile..

Didnt seem like it was that long ago.. but it has been several weeks since I last was here.. I have been working on sachets and still yet another shawl for still yet another birthday gift. I will have pictures of the shawl next week.. just want to finish some of it more. Here is the sachet I made for an order.. since I didnt have a picture of that color.. I took it.. These can be ordered in any color almost.. and I now have 10 scents to scent them.. These sachets are 3 - 4 inches in width and are crocheted either with Simply Soft or a glitter yarn.. You get to pick your color and your hanger.. all mine are edged in white.. unless you request a custom order.. you cannot mix scents for this order.. as these need to be mailed separately.. if you wish to mix scents.. please request a custom order.. You can wash them after the scent is gone and change scents too.. as they are cotton filled. I have scented oils.. Lilac, Jasmine, Apples & Cinnamon, Ylang Ylang, Rose, Orange Blossom, Vanilla, Night Jamine, Sparkle & Shine, and Lavender, . You can also get plain cotton to add your own scent. I will email you to see what scents you want. This would make a nice gift for a friend, coworker, babysitter, mail lady, pet sitter, teacher.
