Update.. a month of info.. lol..

 

I have been keeping busy with cleaning thru stuff... and putting them up on eBay.. plus selling various items for my friend on her eBay group.. I will be starting to advertise some of the stuff this week.. 

I also finally got thru inventory for what i have made crochet wise.. I really got to keep up with that.. I am working on 3 orders.. one finished.. hanging towels, Buffalo Bills cozies and catnip toys.. pictures coming for them.. 

and I made it thru the month of Sept! Oct 1 they turn on my cochlear implant.. I cant wait to hear music again.. and get back to crochet group and the YMCA!!

Michelle's Update - Homemade Soup..

I havent been here in a bit.. too many appointments as well as orders.. I hope to have an update for you soon.. my major thing lately is making homemade soup.. I made Chicken veggie last weekend.. using up tons of veggies both frozen, canned, and fresh.

This was the finished project.. I got several meals frozen.. as well have been eating it for dinner/lunch.. 

My next plan is to try a Lentil Soup.. that recipe I got off the internet.. 

It has been months!

I know I havent been here in a long time.. just alot going on.. losing both of my cats so close together really drained me.. I basically put my life on hold.. I havent been crocheting at all.. not much reading either.. basically just doing housework and playing games online.. going out with friends.. I did get fish to keep me busy.. and I plan on fostering after I get back from a vacation.. 

I am slowly getting back to things.. alot of photos to put up.. so watch for them.. 

I also have started to list more things in eBay, TraderKat and Listia.. hopefully more items again soon!

I made this dark blue shawl as a gift for a birthday party.. same pattern as before.. and happily for me, she loved it.. currently working on Bills coffee cup cozies.. photos soon.. I have a couple orders for them.. so am working on different designs so they can choose which one they want.. 

I am also working on getting my stuff in order again.. that seems like an endless project.. lol.. at least I got my patterns organized in my file drawer.. and now am scanning ones to keep.. so I can put up for sale the booklets and magazines.. gives me more ideas on items to make.. if you see an item you would like me to put up for sale.. let me know.. I would love some ideas.. with Fall coming.. I will be home more.. as it gets darker earlier.. and I dont like to drive after dark.. old age.. lol..

Michelle's Update!

I am working on so many things right now.. just finished another Shawl.. since it is a birthday gift.. I will put a picture up after the birthday.. I am also working on sachets for an order in white.. and finished one in white glitter with a blue ribbon.. picture of it here.. I would like to get some extras made in colors to show in my store. This way people can see the colors I have. I am working on those, orders and gifts at the same time.. so you can imagine how busy I am.. I already have a list of items to make between now and Christmas.. Hopefully will get them finished in time for everything!

Michelle's Update

 

I recently saw this quote.. and thought this is something that I need to remember.. I currently am going thru alot of stuff.. with getting caught up with all my medical stuff I need to get done, plus figuring out what to do with my cat, Link and his cancer.. 

My days during the week are filled.. with either water zumba or PT (alternate days) as I have alot of joint problems that need help, plus need to lose some weight for a knee replacement.. 

So basically I have to leave me sales and crocheting for the weekend, as I am too tired after each day of running around with Dr appointments, vet appointments, etc. Bear with me during this.. I will eventually be done or have a more accurate schedule.. 

Life gets crazy!

 I just have been so busy.. life gets in the way sometimes.. first one of my cats ended up with a lump in his leg.. thankfully it was just a abscess, not a tumor.. would really been more upset if it was cancer.. 

Then at the same time, one of my friends had to move.. so I was busy driving to and from here to Buffalo to get her boxes and drive her places.. and when I was home.. I was too burnt to do much of anything.. 

I did get my Easter towels so am starting to work on those.. ordered the buttons last night.. by the time they get here I will have a bunch done and just need to add the buttons.. so that will be my goal this weekend..

I am still working on rearranging this place.. should have some photos next week.. these cabinets I got are really great.. am so glad I got them.. Here is one photo from when I first got it.. I have alot more now.. wider here and also some in the bedroom.. things are getting there.. I have places for most of my yarn now and my books.. things are being shifted weekly.. lol. 

Tomorrow will be the start of my new sale this month.. this month the focus will be on clearing out crochet and knitting pattern books and magazines.. so yes, that is what will be on sale.. 

Just an update..

January was hard for me.. mentally and physically.. I just had too much happen too fast and ended up literally just shutting down.. playing games online mostly.. which did wonders for my gift cards. lol.. but nothing else.. maybe some reading.. My January reading list will be coming tomorrow.. 

Then on January 31, I had surgery for cataracts and glaucoma.. getting the glaucoma surgery always gives me a headache.. not sure why.. but it does.. I finally started feeling like me again.. and actually started crocheting this weekend.. made some hotpads for my daughter.. Just a couple of quicky ones.. solid on the back.. granny square on the front.. 

I will be back crocheting new items for sale probably this month.. I still have an order to finish.. Luckily, she isnt in a rush for it.. 

Merry Christmas!!

This has been a weird Christmas for me.. My plans for Christmas was suppose to visit my daughter for Christmas Eve and my son and Fiancée for Christmas Day.. well.. Buffalo and the suburbs got hit by a Blizzard.. One that I havent been thru since the 1970s..  So Christmas will have to wait until next week.. when we can dig out from here.  The picture here is what things looked like this afternoon.. we got another round of snow coming thru tonight.. 

I got prepared.. I got my meds, food, snacks, ice cream and Truly.. lol. Anyone who knows me knows home much I like ice cream.. I got enough for this weekend.. and into next week.

In the meantime.. I have been slowly cleaning thru paperwork.. and scanning items, and doing my games and receipts.. so am not bored.. Hope everyone has a nice Christmas.. and I will be back making and selling things in January.

I cant believe it has been a whole month..

 I will tell you.. moving is for the birds.. I hate moving.. I plan to stay here until I die.. lol.. anyways.. I spend most of September, by finished moving.. and trying to find places for everything.. going from a house to a senior apartment is rather interesting.. but I love my new place..

I already made changes.. since my original photos.. but I will put what I have so far.. This is from my windows.. it is like looking at my own personal garden with none of the work.. lol.. 

The kitchen is smaller than my old place.. but has more cupboards.. and also just outside the kitchen is 2 large cabinets.. one with shelves.. and one that is both a coatrack and a storage area for my cleaning supplies. In all.. I am quite happy with it.. 

Cant believe it has been 10 days

Well, time sure has been going by fast.. I started PT again.. this time for fibro flareup and Sciatic Nerve pain.. am going for that two days per week.. then on the suggestion of my therapist, I resigned up for the YMCA for water aerobics two evenings a week.. which I love.  The only problem is I am so tired after those, that I end up sleeping away the evenings.. I do a little crocheting and a little sales stuff.. but not much of anything.. once my body adjusts to it.. I am sure I will get more energy.. 

But I really do love doing the water aerobics.. I go to the one in the KenTon area.. which has alot of women my age.. give or take.. we all do the sauna afterwards.. and I shower and come home.. eat a dinner, and that is all I do.. LOL.. 

Am surprised I am still up now.. but I wanted to just update you.. I hope to get more Easter towels up soon.. I have topped a couple.. but they need trim and buttons.. gonna try this weekend..
