So behind.. lol.. what else is new!!

I said I would monthly list what I have read.. and where the books are up for sale.. 99% of my books are on TraderKat or Listia.. as selling them on eBay isnt worth it anymore.. as least I can get points for them to use for other items..

You can also find me on Goodreads.. https://www.goodreads.com/user/show/19799270

Ok.. for January.. I managed to finish 7 books

Book 1 - Daddy by Danielle Steel - that currently isnt up anywhere since it was so damaged..

Book 2 -  Leap of Faith by Danielle Steel - already sold on TraderKat

Book 3 - Passion's Promise by Danielle Steel - I have two copies.. one is gone.. the other is up on TraderKat - https://traderkat.com/auction/8130/

Book 4 - Meant to Be: Dual Image / One Summer by Nora Roberts - it is on TraderKat right now, ending today.. https://traderkat.com/auction/8023/

Book 5 - The Secret of Secrets by Dan Brown -  This was a library kindle book..

Book 6 - In Death #29 - Kindred in Death by J.D. Robb - this series is one of my favorites.. you will be seeing more of these up.. it is up on TraderKat until today also.. https://traderkat.com/auction/8022/

Book 7 - The Search by Nora Roberts - I dont have that up.. will add this when I do..

My New Years Resolution..

I am going to try very hard to monthly check in with my reading challenge.. last year I read 84 out of the 55 I signed up to read.. Yep.. I definitely surpassed what I expected to read.. you can see my challenge here.. plus the books I read.. Most the books I read go directly to TraderKat.. as it isnt worth putting them up on eBay anymore.. at least I can get points to use for other items..

Sunday Update!

I just want everyone to know my eBay store and Darlene's eBay store will be closed down from today until after my surgery and I get back home on September 6th.. I will be leaving my TraderKat and Listia ads up as I made the closing dates after I get home.. I will let everyone know when everything is put back up!

TraderKat - great place to get rid of your excess items..

I belong to a small site where you can get rid of items for points and then use them to bid on items others have for sale.. I often put my crochet items there to clear out.. plus alot of items I just havent sold on eBay.. I currently have just a few items up.. but will be adding more very soon as I will be pulling items from eBay and moving them to here.. great way to get rid of stuff.. plus I use my points for stuff I want.. often get my craft supplies here, plus gifts.. I even have gotten fancy coffees!

So check them out at www.TraderKat.com.. and add me there if you join.. lol.. will send a new blog entry when I put more stuff up!!

Doing a serious cleanout!!

I am getting rid of tons of stuff.. cleaning out my place like I do every January.. so my crocheting has been put off for a while.. will be back to it by the end of the month.

I got myself a new aquarium and stand that I need to find a place for.. as well as some clown loaches for my tanks.. they are soo cute!!

My guppies keep breeding like crazy so I am separating the males and females for now.. until these babies grown enough so I can see if I want them..

Alot of my items will be put on eBay and TraderKat.. so watch for my items on there.. I will try to send a blog entry of the items I put up..

It has been months!

I know I havent been here in a long time.. just alot going on.. losing both of my cats so close together really drained me.. I basically put my life on hold.. I havent been crocheting at all.. not much reading either.. basically just doing housework and playing games online.. going out with friends.. I did get fish to keep me busy.. and I plan on fostering after I get back from a vacation..

I am slowly getting back to things.. alot of photos to put up.. so watch for them..

I also have started to list more things in eBay, TraderKat and Listia.. hopefully more items again soon!

Shipping updates

I havent been online as I got a vaccination that really gave me a hard time.. so I am days behind.. just updating everyone just in case anyone is ordering from me anywhere. Some of my postage is gonna have to go up still yet again.. sorry.. This was copied from PirateShip.

USPS is increasing some rates on November 18th

While the Postal Service is not adding any Holiday Surcharges this year, they are increasing Priority Mail rates everywhere you can buy postage online

• Priority Mail Flat Rate is increasing up to 6%, because USPS is removing this service from the Connect eCommerce program that provided deeper discounts, so the rates are returning to the Commercial Pricing levels.
• Weight-Based Priority Mail is increasing up to 10% in zones 1-4, but it'll still have discounts that are cheaper than Commercial Pricing
• Dimension-Based Priority Mail Cubic is increasing up to 23% in zones 1-4 for tiers 0.40 and 0.50—so the largest package sizes for this service are getting more expensive in the lowest zones. But the rates are still cheaper than Commercial Pricing
• Ground Advantage is decreasing up to 16% in zones 1-5, depending on the size and weight of your package.

Rest assured Pirate Ship will continue passing through the cheapest shipping rates available for USPS with no hidden costs or monthly fees

Read more about the upcoming USPS rate change here

Holiday Shipping Deadlines

If you need your packages to arrive before December 25th, here's the shipping deadlines:

• UPS® Ground & UPS® Ground Saver: Delivery times vary—use our Rates calculator to get an estimate!
• UPS 2nd Day Air®: Ship by December 20th
• UPS Next Day Air®: Ship by December 21st
• USPS Ground Advantage: Ship by December 16th
• USPS Priority Mail: Ship by December 18th
• USPS Priority Mail Express: Ship by December 20th

Instagram...

Things are going slowly here.. moving fast really put my sales at a halt.. Hopefully by the end of the month I should be back doing more and more sales.. Currently I am focusing on my Bonanza store and TraderKat.. I got my hanging towels moved over here so I can focus on sales.. and TraderKat (even with the problems it is currently having) gets my books I am reading and putting some of my handcrocheted items up there..

I am looking forward to getting my baby yarn from my old place as I want to start making baby items again.. I just love making them.. so hopefully soon you will see more items up for sale..

I am starting to use my Instagram account.. for all my sales.. so check it out.. there will be more and more added as time goes on.. Please follow me there. I would appreciate it.

Took a Break..

I had alot of things going on since my last blog entry.. one of my friends, who had cancer died.. and then I got sick.. so basically I havent been doing too much here.. some reading.. sales stuff on eBay and crocheting some towels.. that basically it..

Plan to do some blog entries tonight to come out this week and weekend.. hopefully get my towel pictures done this week too.. I won some buttons on TraderKat that went really nice with the two sets I just finished tonight..

I want to start some summer baby items.. hopefully will pull patterns and yarn this weekend.. I found some really nice flowers to put on baby dresses and sandals.. and also listed a bunch of fabric flowers on Facebook that are too large for what I like to make.. a few pictures below.. plus a link to the pictures on Facebook. Below are some of the flowers.. plus alot more.. the link on Facebook is HERE!!

Bet you wonder..

Bet you wonder why I do so many different sites.. you see, my house is full of stuff.. just too much stuff.. I dont plan on being in this house more than a couple more years.. so I need to clear it out, because I dont want to move it.   I have an order of what I put items up in stores..

Obviously, my handcrocheted items get listed in Bonanza.. I want to focus more on that as I need to get items done to clear out yarn, towels, and other supplies to make them.

Then the regular items in my house.. First, they go up on Ebay, then after they get lowered, then I move them to TraderKat.. I also use TraderKat to sell some of my hanging towels too.. Then they get moved to Listia.. and if they get that far.. then I move them to Buy Nothing, West side Allentown, Buffalo, NY.. and just give them away.. if they get where no one wants them.. there is always AmVets..

So you see ads for all the places.. one of the best ways to see what I have it to go to my facebook storefront to Michelle's Old and New Goodies.. I have sections for all my items.. so you can see them all.. Click on the link to go to my site on Facebook.
