My New Years Resolution..

I definitely surpassed what I expected to read.. you can see my challenge here.. plus the books I read.. Most the books I read go directly to TraderKat.. as it isnt worth putting them up on eBay anymore.. at least I can get points to use for other items..

January Books

I did some reading in January.. I managed to finish 3 books... which surprised me.. since I really didnt read much.

Vengeance and Vampires #1 - Ravenite by Alicia Rades

I discovered this series on my Iphone.. the first book was free.. actually was pretty good..

Vengeance and Vampires #2 - Resilience by Alicia Rades

Book 2 was $3.99 on Apple Books.. not sure if it is listed anywhere else.. I will be downloading the next book in the series.. right now on a different series..

Deadly Angels #6 - Even Vampires Get the Blues by Sandra Hill

I will be honest.. this book took me forever to read as I really didnt like it.. I wont be getting any more books in this series..

I put it up for sale on Ebay..

My Book Update - End of Year and December List

Sad to say it.. I only read 40 books out of the 50 I planned on.. I decided to try for the 50 again this year and hopefully I will read it.. I havent done very well the last 2 years.. If you are a member of Goodreads..friend me..

For December I read and finished:

Wolfskin (Saga of the Light Isles #1) by Juliet Marillier Of all the books I read this month.. this was the one I liked the best.. I plan on getting book 2..

Ancients by R. Karl Largent This book was quite good, but I wasnt fond of the ending.. it would have been fine if it was part of a series.. but it doesnt look like it was..

In a Killer's Sights (Smoky Mountain Secrets #1) by Sandra Robbins This was a suspense romance.. and it was actually quite good..

An Accidental Family by Darlene Graham This was a romance.. I had a few of them to read, since most of them are short and sweet.. I finished that one..

September Fundraiser..

I am doing this fundraiser for the Trevor Project.. if you can help me by donating even $5.. I would appreciate it..  I need to read 600 hours in the month of September.. already have gotten 100 done.. reading is my relaxation so this will be easy for me.  https://www.facebook.com/donate/1288806795196123/

Books I read in August

I am back to reading alot again.. I try to read every night.. at least for an hour per night..

First book I read was V.. by A.C. Crispin.. I saw the TV series many years ago.. and found the book, so read that.. I still have more of the series. hopefully will be finding them too.. this book is up on TraderKat if you are interested in getting it..

Then I took out an old favorite of mine, Danielle Steel. Special Delivery
by Danielle Steel I read that and also put it up on TraderKat.. already gone to its new home.

Then I found a book that someone here was giving away.. so took to read. The Reckoning by John Grisham.  Story was quite interesting.. though it was weird how the author broke it down.. The book was in rough shape.. so not sure if I will offer it up on TraderKat or Listia..

I ended the month, finishing this book literally as August ended.. I realized after I started it.. I read the books out of order.. I have the first book too.. if I can find where I put it... it is also not up.. she is one of my favorite authors..

Orchard Valley Brides: Norah\Lone Star Lovin'(Orchard Valley #3-4)by Debbie Macomber

September is turning to be a new month for me.. as I am reading as a fundraiser for a group.. I will have that in my next blog entry..

Books I read in June

As you can see I am really behind.. I moved at the beginning of the month.. things are still all over.. but I am starting to get organized again.. hopefully by August I will be.

I didnt get much reading done in June as I was packing.. but I did finish a couple of books.

Heart of Texas, Vol. 1: Lonesome Cowboy / Texas Two-Step  (Heart of Texas #1-2)  by Debbie Macomber

I really like Debbie Macomber.. I can say she is one of my favorite authors.. Starting with Cedar Cove.. I am now reading thru a number of her books.  I dont currently have this book up for sale.. not sure yet what I am bringing to my new place.

State of Terror by Hillary Rodham Clinton and Louise Penny

I absolutely recommend this book.. I started reading it. and I couldnt put it down.. I was at the edge of my seat thru the whole book..

I am reading more now..reading a Nora Roberts book.. more on that next month.

Summer Reading ... Part 2

I had this really bad habit of getting books and then putting them away to read.. someday.. well.. some of these books sat so long my reading taste changed.. so am getting rid of them.. many of them are brand new or almost new..
