Barrel Slippers

I just finished this for an order.. she wanted bright and colorful.. and since I remember that pink and purple was her favorite I picked this yarn out..  I promised her I would have it done by Aug. 1st.. so am happy I got them done in time. These are custom made in your favorite colors.. and will keep your feet nice and warm thru the winter..

My newest item.. Santa Slippers

I just finished my first pair.. these are for a 4 1/2 - 5 1/2 inch foot..I am selling these for $8 a pair.. I have this pair now.. and you can custom order in Small, Medium and Large.

Small is child size 4 - 6
Medium is Size 7 - 9
Large is 10 - 13..

They only come in the sizes above.. due to the santa face.. As I have alot of orders.. this is first come basis.. I am only taking 5 orders for this.. counting the one already done.. so Email me as soon as possible.. if you want these before Christmas.

Fall Hanging Towels

I finished 4 new sets of Fall hanging towels.. these are going up for sale immediately on Facebook and over the next couple of days on Etsy.. I now got a couple of new orders so will be working on a baby headband (auctioned on Listia) and a pair of adult cupcake slippers.. Will have pictures when finished..The scarecrow one is made of velour type fabric, not terrycloth.. so it feels very soft.. I have double of all these towels.. so I can also make them in your choice of the color of yarn and buttons.

Bunnies!!

While at the fair.. we also got to see alot of bunnies.. I love rabbits.. they are really cute.. and soft.. and make good pets.. I used to watch this rabbit when his owners went away.. he was a smart little bugger.. lol. I would sit on the floor with him and visit.. first he would explore for a while, then come for attention.. but once I put my book down.. he knew it was time for me to go.. and then he would run and hide cos he didnt want to go back to his cage.. lol.. like I said.. smart little bugger..

Knit Look Slippers Order Done

Long Update for Me!!

Sorry I havent been here in a LONG time.. in between flareups of my fibro, trying to get some of my orders done and out, doing my sales in Ebay (they changed things.. and postage changed, so I have been updating there too).. and just trying to keep up with life and all its disasters.. I had to put this behind..

First I did finally finish the sneaker slippers I had an order for.. put away the slippers for my friend.. as she is willing to wait for it.. and get the orders done that had to be done.. I did a pair of sneaker slippers.. pattern here. Here is a closeup of the side..

I am now working on a star bunting for a baby.. I am just about 1/3 done.. smile.. it is coming very nice.. Pattern can be found here..  I hope to have some pictures by next week..

Of course I am working on my Ebay items for sale.. I am selling books that I am finished reading, as well as DVD's and VHS tapes that we already watched.. I also am reselling my patterns that I have finished scanning to clear them out.. smile.. that part is going slow.. lol.. as I dont leave myself alot of time to scan items.. I generally have around 100 items up for sale at one time.. give or take.. what doesnt sell there.. goes to Listia to be bidded off as a freebie..

This winter has been horrible.. really low temperatures in the single digits or even minus.. and that is without the wind chills.. so going out was really hard on me.. often I ended up with a flareup of my fibro and ended up in bed for a couple days at at time.. so then just read books.. I am currently reading a series by Sarah Graves,, Her Home Repair is Homicide series.. it is both funny, entertaining, and nice mysteries.. I do recommend them to everyone.. I am currently reading Nail Biter..

Well.. guess that is my total update for today.. hope to be back soon..

Slipper Update

Just about done with another pair of Knit Look Slippers.. then I have one more pair to finish off. and then I will be done with this order.. sometimes I wish I had more hours in the day.. lol.. I got done with most of them watching Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, which was pretty good.. I watched it on Netflix.. but you can watch it online here.. 

While doing that last pair.. I also need to do a rush order for sneaker slippers.. that was suppose to be already done.. still off schedule from Christmas.

At least I got most of my inventory done.. almost all of the stuff that is on Ebay and Listia is done.. and most of the crochet items that are unsold yet.. I already got done with the Valentine's Day towels.. put them up.. and sold them already.. (Yay me).. Next is St. Patty's Day..

I know I will get there.. and have my stuff done.. just takes time.. and time is not what I have alot of.. smile..

Saturday Special

Had a nice day yesterday.. met up with my friend, Grace at Applebees for lunch. I will be making a Star Bunting for her and met up with her to get the yarn she picked out.. she got Baby Econo yarn in a variegated blue green blend.. called Swim Multi.. figure if I double it and use a larger needle, it will be baby size.. smile.. the pattern is for doll size (18 inches long).. since she wants newborn, I should have it around 20 inches long..

Then after I left her.. I hit the hair dresser.. and got a very needed haircut.. stopped at Dollar Tree and Dollar General for Valentine Towels.. and found some nice ones at Dollar General.. hope to get them up and done by the end of this month..

Currently I am working on finished the Knit Look slippers.. got the slipper part done, now working on the edging.. pictures in a day or so..

Finished a pair of bunny slippers

I got this order for these slippers before Christmas.. and they were nice enough to wait until after.. this pair I used the wiggly eyes for.. since it was for an older child.. I used some blue worsted I had in my box.. think it was Red Heart.. felt sturdy enough for slippers..

I am now back working on the knit look slippers for my friend, Kelly's kids.. smile.. am on the last pair now..

Had to slow down on things. one cos I am tired.. lol.. and two.. I have to get the end of year paperwork done.. got most of my inventory done.. just got the VHS tapes up for sale on Ebay to do.. and my Crochet items that I havent sold yet.. that should be fast.. as I dont have much unsold this year.. still alot of paperwork to do..

Just been busy.. trying to find time to get the rest of my orders done, and find time for things like cleaning, Christmas shopping.. and all those fun things you do at this time of the year.. sometimes I feel like I am on a treadmill.. sigh.. every year I swear I wont take as many Christmas orders.. and every year I do..

Anyways.. I wanted to take a minute and put up the ones I just finished.. I need to make 3 of these like this.. got the one done.. and working on the second one.. feeling pressed for time..

I previously showed you the pink ones.. here are the purple ones.. doing some of my pictures today.. If you look closely at the cupcake topper.. you can see the small flecks of purple, pink, yellow, blue, etc.. thought they came out cute..
