Slipper Update

Just about done with another pair of Knit Look Slippers.. then I have one more pair to finish off. and then I will be done with this order.. sometimes I wish I had more hours in the day.. lol.. I got done with most of them watching Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, which was pretty good.. I watched it on Netflix.. but you can watch it online here.. 

While doing that last pair.. I also need to do a rush order for sneaker slippers.. that was suppose to be already done.. still off schedule from Christmas.

At least I got most of my inventory done.. almost all of the stuff that is on Ebay and Listia is done.. and most of the crochet items that are unsold yet.. I already got done with the Valentine's Day towels.. put them up.. and sold them already.. (Yay me).. Next is St. Patty's Day..

I know I will get there.. and have my stuff done.. just takes time.. and time is not what I have alot of.. smile..

Started the Flamingo.. and the latest movie we are watching..

I decided to start the flamingo.. instead of finishing off the cupcake slippers.. I will work on those tonight.. lol.. I should finish them off with no problem..

One of the best things about having a Roku is we can watch what we want to.. when we want to.. at a really low cost.. smile.. last night we watched first.. Shark Tank.. great shows.. love the ideas that flow from people... one of our favorite shows.. then we started a mini series.. called Delete.. you can see the info here on Netflix.. we watched the first part last night.. will finish tonight.. smile. I get most my crocheting done to my TV shows.. update probably tomorrow.. depending on how things go..

Happily.. I just sold a bunch of stuff on Etsy.. smile.. really makes me happy.. as well as auction a bunch of stuff on Listia.. Ebay is off my list to focus on.. as they got my account frozen.. and I can only list 40 at a time.. that is ok.. gives me more time with my other accounts..

Cupcake Slippers For Adults..

Am working on a pair of trial cupcake slippers for adults.. using two different patterns and making into one..

First.. I am using the bottoms of the Crocodile Loafers (same ones I just used on my latest pair of Rainbow Slippers).. and of course using the Cupcake Slipper Pattern that I used in the Toddler version. just making  it larger..

So far I got the bottoms done.. I used a thinner yarn than usual ( I suspect this yarn was actually a DK and not regular worsted weight).. and also a G hook.. and the slippers came out smaller than they should have.. not to worry.. my next pair I just will use a H hook to counteract the gauge problem.. so my first pair will be a size 1 - 2 (which is a larger child size).. those will eventually hit my Etsy store. I wasnt focusing on my gauge.. but more on the pattern.. in order to combine both patterns, I had to make several changes.. and hence.. how it ended up too small..  Pictures coming soon.. I didnt think of taking pictures last night.. since while I was doing that.. we were also watching a movie called Assult on Wallstreet.. you can watch the trailer HERE.. This was a great movie.. dont want to let you in on too much.. but you really had to feel for the poor guy..

It was a nice thing to see when I got on my emails.. smile.

Well.. my day is been a rather boring day.. just the usual.. gardening.. picked tomatoes.. folded clothes, did some straightening up.. worked on some sales stuff.. just the usual things I do.. every day..

We did watch a nice movie yesterday.. Trepass with Nicolas Cage and Nicole Kidman.. I have to say it kept me on my seat.. it was even hard to crochet while watching it.. we watched it on our Roku.. on Netflix.. anyone else got a Roku.. or Netflix.. I tell you.. it was one of the best things we bought.. we basically cancelled our cable after that.. why pay all that money when you can just spend $8 per month on Netflix.. the Roku box is a one time cost.. we got ours on Craig's List for $50.. and it was still in the box!  The Roku has tons of stations to watch.. alot of them are free too.  We pay for both Netflix and Hulu + as they have closed captioning which is wonderful when you are hearing impaired!  You should check them out!!

Anyways.. I got the slipper part done.. now working on Teddybear heads to attach. Hope to have pictures soon.. hope you all have a nice day.. see you tomorrow..
