Did you know there is a national site that you can join to give away or get items you need for free.. you need to check them out.. 

Each area in the US has groups.. and it is all a local people.. so you are trading with your neighbors.. which I think is a great idea.. I belong to our local one West Side and Allentown, Buffalo, NY.. and I have gotten a few items that I have needed, and gotten rid of items too..

Bet you wonder why I do so many different sites.. you see, my house is full of stuff.. just too much stuff.. I dont plan on being in this house more than a couple more years.. so I need to clear it out, because I dont want to move it.   I have an order of what I put items up in stores.. 

Obviously, my handcrocheted items get listed in Bonanza.. I want to focus more on that as I need to get items done to clear out yarn, towels, and other supplies to make them.

Then the regular items in my house.. First, they go up on Ebay, then after they get lowered, then I move them to TraderKat.. I also use TraderKat to sell some of my hanging towels too.. Then they get moved to Listia.. and if they get that far.. then I move them to Buy Nothing, West side Allentown, Buffalo, NY.. and just give them away.. if they get where no one wants them.. there is always AmVets..

Busy.. Busy.. Busy..

Since I last was here.. I dont think I had a day where I wasnt running out the door.. you know how those days are.. 

I got to see my friend, Diane.. we been trying to get together for Christmas since Christmas, but the constant storms made it really hard.. we went to lunch and then since she got me a gift card from Joann's I went to spend it.. they were having a button sale.. so I took advantage of it and got buttons for my St. Patrick and Spring towels.. which I started working on.. She also got me this really cool T-shirt that had all about crocheting.. I would have a picture, but I wore it already.. maybe next time.. 

Then I saw another friend, Cindy.. we had lunch and coffee at Tim Hortons, and did shopping.. that was nice.. I had a bunch of stuff to drop off to her anyways.. 

Sunday I sorts just relaxed and read and watched TV.. just too tired.. I finished The Wishsong of Shannara by Terry Brooks.  Now I am reading The Scions of Shannara, but my book at the library came in.. so I guess I have to read that first.. The horsewoman by James Patterson.. only got it for a week.. so I have to speed read it.. 

More later.. got another busy day tomorrow..

Time goes fast when you are having fun..

I know it has been months since I have been here.. just alot going on in my life.. so much stress.. that I just shut down.. but I didnt stop doing stuff.. just not blogging, sales, or crocheting.. my concentration was shot, and I just needed to shut down until I could concentrate again.. 

One of the things I did was play games online.. dont laugh.. anyone who knows me, knows that is funny, cos I normally didnt do stuff like that.. I found I can get gift cards by playing the games, so it was a win for me sorta.. I actually make about $15 per month just in Amazon cards.. give or take.. some months more.. that is a free bag of cat food for the house.. 

I also started scanning receipts for gift cards too.. Will tell you more about this later.. 

For now I wanted to tell you about Mistplay.. that is my favorite site as it has my favorite game.. Big Farm Mobile Harvest.. I usually go there several times a day.. esp during Co-op week.. 

I also use a site called A Happy Turtle.. Discover games and apps that suit you. Cash for every minute you're playing (Amazon, PayPal, GooglePlay…)! It is as simple as it sounds: just open the link, download A Happy Turtle for free and start playing games. You will receive 4499 coins as a start-up bonus... my second favorite game is there.. called Township.. this site also gives you extra points for doing surveys..

Everything I read in January 2022

I was reading thru other blogs and I saw this on The Stripe.. and I thought it was a great idea.. so I am going to try this every month.. I have so many books to read and clear out that this will challenge me to read more.. I hope.. lol..

Since I keep a track of my books on Goodreads, it should be easy enough to list them.. does anyone out there follow Goodreads? If you do, and you want to connect with me.. add me here.. 

Previously I started reading the prequels to the Shannara series, so decided to reread the whole series, and started The Sword of Shannara by Terry Brooks.. you can click on the link for a rundown of the book. I got it thru the library as a kindle download, so nice not to go out and get the book in the snow.. lol.. 

Then I finally got called to pick up a book that I have been waiting for at the library.. Diana Gabaldon's Go Tell the Bees That I Am Gone.. part of the Outlander series.. That was a really long book.. but I spent many a night staying up to dawn to read it.. as I am really a fan of the series.. 

Then after that.. while I was waiting for my download on Kindle of the next Shannara book, I read Between Two Thorns (The Split Worlds #1) by Emma Newman.. This is my book, and it is up for sale on Ebay, for $4.79 free shipping. I finished that on Jan. 29th and started The Elfstones of Shannara, which I finished last night..
