The Boot Slippers.. not my favorite pattern for sure..

Peeps S'mores for Easter

Ingredients:

peeps
Hershey's chocolate squares
graham crackers
Directions:
1. Place graham crackers, chocolate and a peep as shown in first picture. Zap in the microwave until soft. (Or place under broiler.)
2. Top with another graham cracker square.

Sunday Update..

Well.. havent done these for awhile.. smile.. Just thought I would stop in and let you know what is up in my world.. On the kitties front.. Sapphire is healed again.. back eating and moving around.. That makes me happy.. Gabby, on the other hand, is not healed up yet.. her one gland in her neck is still swollen.. if she isnt better by Tuesday I guess it will be time to visit the vet AGAIN..

On my stores.. been working hard to get some new items up for sale at Old & New Shoppe and Listia. I will be putting up alot of new patterns in both, and new books in Old & New Shoppe.. been doing alot of reading, so have alot to put up..

In crocheting.. I finished off the pair of slippers I have been working on.. just need to attach them to the bottoms.. this is one pattern I will never use again.. I didnt like it.. to be honest.. If someone wants them.. I am definitely gonna charge double what I did agree on. I am now starting a pair of sneaker slippers.. like these.. except in gray and peach.. already started the bottoms..

I still need to finish a baby gift I started for someone.. as well as an order for a Camisole I got.. smile.. will update you with pictures during the week..

My cats..

Well.. Sapphire is on the mend.. from her major infection of her mouth... dont have a picture of her on this computer.. unfortunately it is on the computer that got taken over with a virus.. this picture is of Gabby who now is sick.. both cats have the same problem.. both are infected with Feline Aids, which makes them more susceptible to infections.. Gabby was born with it.. and Sapphire, who knows how she got it.. as she had it when I got her.. The two of them keep my Vet in business all by themselves.. unfortunately..

Happy St.Patrick's Day (and Happy Birthday to my son)

Happy St Patrick's Day.. it is a very special holiday to me.. not because I am Irish.. but because it is the birthday of my son, Charlie.. he turned 35 today.. smile. I really hope he has a wonderful birthday!!

Anyways.. I am a bit overwhelmed this weekend.. .with having two stores (one for clearing my house of items I am not using) and one for the handcrocheted items on Etsy.. plus a blog, and currently doing a house sitting.. I am certainly falling behind.. with everything.. and tired as heck.. I have a bunch of orders to do.. a pair of slippers that is alot harder than it looked originally.. a pair of sneaker slippers, towels.. and a order via my Treasury on Etsy.. That is along with packing a ton of orders via Ebay, Etsy, and Listia.. LOL.. cant say I am bored..

SI am not one of those people who love the weekends.. for me the weekends are usually more busier than the weekdays.. just like this weekend.. anyways.. I wanted to tell you about this blog I  just found.. it is called This Girl Cooks.. and I have to say there are some of the tastiest sounding recipes I have seen in a while.. esp the soups I found here..

With a few changes to her Crockpot Creamy Mexican Chicken Soup.. I am sure I will love this.. I will probably replace the jalapeno peppers with something less hotter.. I also want to try the Spicy Sweet Potato and Bacon Chowder and Crockpot Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup.. Still cold enough to enjoy these.. actually have snow today.. 

Today I plan on catching up with blogs for here.. smile.. hope you like these recipes I found.. 

Too many irons in the fire..

Been down for the count for the last couple of days.. nasty headache.. finally gone today.. weird part is I now have insomnia.. go figure..

Today I had alot of computer catch up to do.. worked on putting items on Ebay and Listia.. and cleaned through 3 days of emails.. picked up a couple of crochet orders for towels, slippers and a scrubbie. so that will keep me busy for a while.. smile.. pictures as I finish items..

I will spend tomorrow catching up on the Easter towels.. as well as telling you about a sale I got coming up tomorrow for Etsy.. check tomorrow evening for everything.. smile.. until then.. have a nice day..
