An Accomplished Day

Busy day.. picked more of my crops.. got to get them all picked and froze since the weather has and is going to be freezing.. we got a ton of green tomatoes and some small peppers and eggplant.. luckily we like them fried.. made tuna macaroni salad for my boyfriend, and a great beef stew (been craving that).. got wash done.. got orders packed, and Listia stuff done, and finished two dishclothes.. now going to bed.. accomplished alot today.. Makes me feel like great -- days like this..

Hope to have some pictures soon..

Major Shopping Day..

Had alot of running around to do today.. cos I got a air conditioner (almost new) and a weedwacker on Ebay.. we paid for the AC, but the weedwacker was new.. have to love freebies. you should check out Facebook groups.. for buying and selling of items.. both nation wide.. and locally.. it is my new thing now.. smile..

I had a small boneless ham.. so decided to make ham and scalloped potatoes.. but needed a low cal one.. and found a good one online.. Only changes I made was since I didnt have potatoes.. and had a ton of canned potatoes.. decided to use those instead.. and they worked perfectly.. no complains there.. I also fried up some of the yellow squash, eggplant and mostly green tomatoes that I had leftover from yesterday.. good meal.. and tons of leftovers.. we will be eating leftovers for a couple of days.. lol..

Got the soaker completed.. I wanted a slightly elastic waistband.. so added one.. I will have pictures tomorrow... too late tonight for that.. that is all for now..

Latest pictures of my project

Well.. I got done with the first pair of slippers for kids for the sale I will be doing in Oct (more about that in a later message).. I still have the eyes and nose to put on... still deciding which way I want to do them.. I dont want to use removable eyes since these are for young kids.. so I am left with sewing or paint.. which do you think I should use?

I am now working on a pair of yellow duckie ones.. smile.. got one slipper part done.. and should be starting the second one tonight.

Today I just was so busy.. had alot of veggies to pick and put in the freezer.  I now am doing that every other day.. smile. anyways.. I made a pot of chicken veggie soup (leftover chicken that I boiled yesterday with alot of my veggies from my garden and leftovers in the frig with noodles).. we had that for lunch.  For dinner it will be meatloaf (ground turkey), pierogies, and salad from my garden.. that is cooking now...

Ebay is doing a special so I can put more items up (in most cases, just reup them).. so that has to be on my list for today also.. Cant say I am bored with life.. lol.. talk to you all tomorrow.. who knows. maybe more pictures too.

Very LONG.. DAY!!

Sometimes days seem to just last too long.. guess this is one of those days.. I had alot of running around to do today.. pack and mail orders, shopping, car wash, get gas, etc.  Got it all done finally! Came home and did some gardening.  Had a bunch of zucchini and yellow squash to pick and some green beans.  Checked over my garden and found I had a bunch of green peppers and tomatoes now.. tiny.. but there.. cant wait!!

For dinner tonight.. I took some carrots, broccoli, yellow squash, zucchini and beans and stirfried them in Italian salad dressing - took one of the lite ones.. to cut back on the oil.. they came very flavorable.. had that along with some hot dogs (I know.. I know.. not the best kind of meat.. but I do like them once in a while)..

Well.. I will have some more stuff tomorrow.. items I have up for sale.. etc.  Ebay has a free week, so I will be putting alot of items up there.. smile.. talk tomorrow. Bye!!
