Made my son a nice set of hanging towels for his apartment

I found these really cool buttons on Listia.. they were hand painted.. of a dragon and magic user.. which I thought he would love..

A long time ago. I taught my kids to play Dungeons and Dragons.. and we played alot. lol.. hence when I saw these.. I thought of that. smile.

Been Busy..

The cat in this picture is my cat, Spooky.. I had to bring him in as he was very sick.. seems he is developing kidney disease.. so now will be on a special diet and fluids.. he is around 15 years old.. and one of my favorite cats.. my poor Spooky..

One of my friends had a horrible fire that totally destroyed not only the house but killed her dog and puppies.. plus alot of her rescue birds.. they are having a fundraiser to help her..

I have been making alot of hanging towels for this.. plus donated some gift certificates.. figure I can help that way.. Hope this helps..

That has been my major focus.. when feeling halfway well... I have been crocheting.. when not feeling too well.. I have been either sleeping or reading..

Owl Towels..

I finally got some pictures of the owl hanging towels that I am making for an order.. I just have two more to finish.. with the eyes and beak and feet.. this was the first time I made these.. so took alot longer that I thought.. wont be as bad next time.. cos I wrote down my instructions..

They were made to match with the potholders I made before..

Spring is finally here!

Yesterday we actually hit the mid 70's.. and today.. it is almost 60.. am really happy! I been working on getting the outside cleaned up and laundry done.. got the front done.. and now working on the back.. Needed a break.. so came online to work on some stuff..

I am currently working on a potholder and hanging towel sets.. and wanted to show you the potholder.. I think they came out adorable.. these are for only decoration.. as they are open in the back and have plastic wiggly eyes... but I can make these to be used in your kitchen with a solid back and plain eyes..

As soon as I finish the towels I will put them up too.. waiting on delivery of the eyes..
