Update.. a month of info.. lol..

 

I have been keeping busy with cleaning thru stuff... and putting them up on eBay.. plus selling various items for my friend on her eBay group.. I will be starting to advertise some of the stuff this week.. 

I also finally got thru inventory for what i have made crochet wise.. I really got to keep up with that.. I am working on 3 orders.. one finished.. hanging towels, Buffalo Bills cozies and catnip toys.. pictures coming for them.. 

and I made it thru the month of Sept! Oct 1 they turn on my cochlear implant.. I cant wait to hear music again.. and get back to crochet group and the YMCA!!

Sunday Update!

I just want everyone to know my eBay store and Darlene's eBay store will be closed down from today until after my surgery and I get back home on September 6th.. I will be leaving my TraderKat and Listia ads up as I made the closing dates after I get home.. I will let everyone know when everything is put back up!

Have been so busy..

 

This summer seems to have passed so fast.. in between my garden, Dr. appts, working on stuff in eBay and reorganizing my apartment I cant believe it has been a month already since I last added anything.. Things will be slowing down for me as I am going for surgery for a cochlear implant in early Sept.  I finally decided to stop putting stuff off and getting that done.. 

My garden has been producing some.. this rather hot summer has helped some veggies.. but others havent done quite as well. I managed to get tons of cucumbers so made some refrigerator pickles.. 

Cooked up some slices of eggplant to freeze.. I still have two more do do.. and then got to do the same for my summer squashes.. my peppers I have been freezing whole for stuffed peppers..  it doesnt look like I am going to get many tomatoes.. the darn deer like them too.. next year I will be getting a fence..  

Thats my latest thing.. will try to not let it go so long..

Sunday Garden Update.. 4 and 5

I have been so busy that the photos I took last Sunday never got up.. or I think.. lol. Anyways.. I got my first zucchini picked.. am excited about that.. My garden is growing strong.. I have tons of lettuce.. peas pods (some are now peas.. lol).. some yellow squash, peppers, tomatoes, cucumber.. and my first flower on my eggplant.. it wont be long that I can start getting my own veggies!!

the flowers are Marigolds.. they are suppose to repeal wildlife.. 

I am waiting for it to turn color.. lol.. no idea what color I am growing.. they were mixed seeds..

I have some Italian Sweet Peppers too.. two indoors which grew from seeds late.. I got them in pots.. along with the mystery squash you can see in the bottom of the photo.. it was growing in the same pot as my lettuce??!! 

Organizing my Yarn AGAIN..

 

My friend gave me a ton of yarn.. I had to reorganize and put it away... I got done with the worsted weight on Sunday.. I am back to I now can see what I have mostly.. lol..

I had to put my variegated, Simply Soft and scrap yarn in front.. along with the cat's chair.. my apartment is rather small... but I can organize it.. 

Sunday Garden Update 3 - Cucumbers and Tomatoes

 Now that my garden is growing like crazy I will just focus on a couple of things per day.. maybe every other day.. today it is my cucumbers and my tomatoes that I originally planted that got frosted. I am happy cos I have my first tomato growing.. and tons of flowers on them. 

First my cucumbers.. I have 3 in one large pot and one by itself.. They are flowering.. so I expect I will have cucumbers by next week.. well.. baby ones.. lol.. 

These guys I really didnt think would survive.. they surprised me and are already producing my first tomato.. 

more in a day or so.. 

Sunday Garden Update 2

 Today is a horribly hot an humid day.. I went out to water my plants and fertilize (do that monthly).. I really thought I would die!! lol.. anyways.. they seem to be doing well.. Pictures below.. 

I got a few eggplants.. one is doing well.. not sure about the other one.. I honestly only need one for me.. lol.. 

My lettuce is growing like crazy.. I cut some last night to eat on Sunday.. I guess I will be eating salad alot!

my peppers are loving this.. I already got flowers and a tiny pepper!

I need to get this built up.. my cucumbers are already looking to grab stuff! If it isnt too hot tonight.. I will do a little.. 

These are the three tomatoes that I thought would die after we got that frost.. well.. as you can see they are growing like crazy and have tons of flowers.. I will have tons of tomatoes this year.. I am actually gonna can some of them maybe one jar at a time (I wont get that many!).. I see homemade sauce in my future!

my zucchini is doing great.. already got flower buds.. my yellow squash.. well.. I started that from seed and it isnt doing as well.. we will see..
