Took a Day Off..

Cos yesterday was my birthday.. had a nice one.. my boyfriend made me a nice dinner and gave me a wallet/purse that had pictures of two fuzzy kittens on it.. and a HUGE keychain as sorta a joke as I often misplace my keys.. and phone.. and purse.. etc.. sigh. grin..

We spent the evening watching Star Trek Beyond which I wanted to see.. am a huge Trekkie.. have been since the original series..

I didnt even crochet or do sales stuff.. smile.. it was a nice slow day..

Vintage Shell Stitch Baby Set..

Well.. I got the photo of the baby set.. and we discovered one thing..today's babies are larger than the previous ones.. what I thought would fit for fall.. fits her now.. sigh.. definitely a learning lesson.. so off to work on another sweater set for her for fall..

I will be able to figure out for a larger size.. smile.. just a couple of tries I am sure..

I spent tonight cleaning thru crochet patterns.. I am currently scanning alot of my patterns to keep.. and then rehoming the books.. my craft room is overflowing.. lol. Next I will be selling some of my yarn.. yarn I dont use.. I got a seachest full of that.. grin.. So Facebook and Ebay will be getting a ton of items up.. back to crocheting tomorrow..

Tired..

I have been really busy.. plus it is hot as heck (for Buffalo, NY).. I am dragging.. and my brain is like mush.. Just got to get thru this weekend.. and hopefully I get a break next week.. tried working on the booties last night.. gave up after I pulled out the rows 3 times.. with vintage patterns.. I have to figure out how to make them modern sorta.. along with making the right size.. the booties are for a really small infant.. so need to make them for an older infant.. hence I need to have brain power to do this.. grin. not last night for sure.. ended up just reading and going to bed.. didnt even do much computer work.. except packing my Listia orders..

Crochet/Knitting Meetup..

Earlier today I went to a local meetup held at DIY.. which of course is the place I have alot of my items for sale.. It was fun.. and while there I made a lavender sachet (needed an easy project as I cant follow a conversation and follow a pattern.. lol.
